Tranquillity – part 8
Manny started school. I started working. I educate children in the same school, give them lessons in self-expression by movement, communication.
I learn a lot about myself, having to think about them and the other way around.
Manny is strong and independent. Kind and thoughtful. He is a promise, as small as he is. We have a quiet life, a safe home, a warm community around us.
This place is like a family; we spend a lot of time together, know each other well, help each other. The people who live around the colony, help to protect ourselves. We trade and they have access to the facilities here.
I met Carol. Her youngest son is at school here. Rocky. He is in my class, a sweet boy. He is three years older than Manny.
